The Origins of The Roost

Opened in 2002, The Roost has continued to develop with lots of plans for the future

If you are a frequent visitor of the Roost, you may have seen some new faces as of late. So we thought it time to properly introduce ourselves and our team.  I have heard, this past year, us referred to as “the new owners' but in reality it might be said we are the original. Sarah and her Dad , Hamish, came up with the concept many years ago and developed the idea as they searched out people with the same vision. Darlene Robertson was a kindred spirit and soon the excitement grew. Sarah often tells of the grand opening in 2001 where they had 6 coffee cups and 6 plates, thinking it would be a good start. When the doors were opened it became very apparent that more were needed..
